Thoughtfully constructed especially the way the assignments are introduced. The most helpful supportive feline course I`ve done. The mentor sessions have been so valuable. The opportunity to watch video consultations and have case studies to look at is fantastic.

I really enjoyed completing the Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling (Feline) + Mentorship. The course gave me a much deeper understanding of feline behaviour and, importantly, encouraged me to look beyond the behaviour itself and consider the underlying emotional state, environment, early experiences and individual needs of the cat.

The sections on feline body language, stress, environmental needs and behaviour modification were particularly valuable. I found the case studies and practical application especially helpful because they encouraged me to think about how the knowledge could be applied to real-life situations rather than simply learning theory.

I also appreciated being encouraged to explore additional resources and research. This helped me become more confident in finding and interpreting evidence and thinking critically about behavioural recommendations.

The pace worked well for me alongside working, and I found that I could revisit material when I wanted to explore a subject in more depth. The mentorship aspect was also useful because it helped connect the course content with practical behaviour cases.

As a veterinary nurse, I feel the course has complemented my existing clinical knowledge and given me greater confidence when assessing feline behaviour, recognising signs of stress and discussing environmental and behavioural needs with clients. I also feel better equipped to recognise when behaviour may require further veterinary investigation or referral.

I would recommend this course to colleagues, particularly veterinary professionals or anyone wanting to develop a more structured and evidence-based understanding of feline behaviour. The combination of theory, practical case work and additional resources was what stood out most to me.

I found the course extremely comprehensive and very well paced, with an excellent mixture of videos, webinars, reading and research papers, which made the learning both engaging and varied. Caroline was always on hand to provide support, either by email or through one-to-one coaching sessions, which was invaluable. The PET library is an exceptional resource, with a wealth of materials, including practical examples and handouts that can be used directly with clients. The course really was “soup to nuts” and would be hugely beneficial both to anyone new to feline behaviour and to those looking to enhance their existing knowledge. The lifetime access is a fantastic bonus, particularly as new materials and videos are continually being added. I would highly recommend the course, whether your aim is simply to understand your own cat better or to pursue a career in animal behaviour.

I really enjoyed the course and especially the opportunity to take part in a live consultation. As a cat lover, guardian as well as having worked with cats, I learned additional aspects to a cats behaviour and welfare that will benefit both my own cat family and the cats in the local animal shelter that I volunteer with. The course provides additional material from published papers to dive deeper into the topic and having the library full of information is great to learn from.
From the course, I have highlighted a couple of areas for my own cats to benefit from as well as looking to progress my learning in order to look at a career in animal behaviour.
