Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling (Feline) + Mentorship

I really enjoyed the course and especially the opportunity to take part in a live consultation. As a cat lover, guardian as well as having worked with cats, I learned additional aspects to a cats behaviour and welfare that will benefit both my own cat family and the cats in the local animal shelter that I volunteer with. The course provides additional material from published papers to dive deeper into the topic and having the library full of information is great to learn from.
From the course, I have highlighted a couple of areas for my own cats to benefit from as well as looking to progress my learning in order to look at a career in animal behaviour.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone with a feline family.

I would highly recommend Caroline’s courses, particularly the feline and canine mentorship programs. They provide in depth information about behavioural support from start to finish to support you with the process.
The content was clear and easy to understand and you have the support of other members in the group or Caroline directly through 4 hours of direct contact via zoom if you require additional support or would like to discuss cases/knowledge/business support or generally anything behaviour related. I found Caroline very friendly and approachable and she never made me feel that I was asking a stupid question. I loved the set of the course and how accessible it was – Caroline provided lots of supportive feedback in 1:1 sessions and I really enjoyed the online sessions, especially seeing the real life case studies and the discussions with other students. While I was not able to attend the live sessions, I did not feel I missed out as I was able to re-watch them at my own pace and this helped me to process and reflect on the sessions. The content on the course is easy-to-follow and links to further reading which I found so helpful. I found the 1:1 sessions really helpful as it allowed for further in-depth exploration of any points raised on the course and also my own interests. The course has helped me build my confidence in cat behaviour and confirmed my desire to pursue a new career as a CAB. I would highly recommend this course – it has life time access which is amazing – I will continue to be coming back to the content and the library of resources for many years to come!

The Feline Behaviour Counselling Mentorship Programme exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in feline behaviour or working with cats in any capacity. It covers a comprehensive range of behavioural topics but with a focus on practical, real-world applications, so it complemented the knowledge I had gained studying for my PG Diploma in Clinical Animal Behaviour and has given me the confidence to start taking cases and build my behaviour consulting business. The opportunity to sit in on live consultations was a particular highlight, as this gave me valuable insight into professional practice, including how to manage client’s expectations, approach sensitive topics in a tactful, non-judgemental way, and adapt treatment plans to take into account clients’ individual circumstances and factors which may impact their compliance. I really appreciated the interactive nature of the programme, with the opportunity to not only benefit from Caroline’s extensive experience and wisdom but also to learn from guest speakers and my fellow mentees during the live sessions. The programme has so much added value, from access to the comprehensive resource library to the 1:1 sessions with Caroline, whom I cannot thank enough for her advice, support and encouragement. This mentorship has left me feeling well-prepared, confident, and inspired to start my career as a feline behaviourist and provide cat guardians with effective, evidence-based support.
