About Caroline & PET
Welcome to Pet Education and Training (PET). I created this platform because I believe every pet professional and dedicated pet owner deserves access to specialist, evidence-based education, wherever they are and whatever stage of their career.
A few words from Caroline
I write every course, drawing on my clinical experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Teacher. Whether you are studying canine or feline behaviour, building your first aid skills, or working towards a professional diploma through one of my mentorship programmes, I have designed each course to give you practical knowledge you can apply with confidence. Today, we’re proud to support thousands of learners on their professional journey.
My written courses are independently CPD accredited, and every certificate carries a unique verification ID that employers and licensing bodies can check online. What means the most to me, though, is that so many of my students come back — not just for further courses, but because they feel genuinely supported throughout their learning journey. That is exactly the kind of experience I set out to create, and it is something I work hard to maintain.

Clinical Animal Behaviourist, Registered Veterinary Nurse, Author
My career in the animal industry spans over 40 years. I am a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and a published author, and I hold a BSc in companion animal behaviour and a professional teaching qualification. I have taught at several colleges, from entry-level students through to undergraduates, and I have served as an external verifier for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons — a role that gave me a deep appreciation for maintaining the highest standards in veterinary education.
I built Pet Education and Training (PET) because I wanted to offer more than a textbook on a screen. I write every course myself and I am personally involved at every stage. My mentorship programmes pair structured learning with live group Zoom sessions, one-to-one coaching, case study supervision and access to a private professional community — ideal for students working towards CAB or CCAB status. If you have a question about any of my courses or would like to discuss whether one of my programmes is right for you, please do get in touch — I always enjoy hearing from students and prospective students alike.

Behind the scenes, I work closely with Tommy, who designs and builds the platform features and courses. We work as a small, dedicated team. I focus on the courses, the teaching and the student experience, and Tommy makes sure the technology supports all of that seamlessly. He handles the day-to-day running of the website, all technical development, and the systems that keep everything working. If you ever experience a technical issue with the website, your account or accessing your course materials, Tommy is the person to speak to.
